What your day-to-day will look like:

• Designing, building, shipping and maintaining distributed systems
• Building Monitoring, logging, alerting around our infrastructure and applications
• Improving the reliability of our systems and CI/CD pipelines
• Putting everything into code
• Plan for reliability by designing systems to work across our multi-region and multi-cloud environments
• Working in close collaboration with multi-functional teams

You’re the person we need if you have experience with:

• Containerization (we use Kubernetes)
• Configuration tools and frameworks (we use Terraform, Helm)
• Knowledge of systems (Linux, GNU tooling), networking (OSI model, DNS, routing) and virtualization vs containerization
• Programming experience with Go/Bash/Python, templating languages (Jinja/gotemplate), and Git
• High level abstractions for system configuration and management
• Public clouds; AWS/Azure/GCP (we use AWS)

Experience Level: 5 to 10 Years

Certifications Preferred: Intermediate or Expert

You’re the innovator we need if you:

• Have at least 2 years’ experience working with the Mendix Platform and want to improve it by working at the home of Mendix itself
• You know your way around forms, domain models, entities, microflows, transactions, non-persistent-entities etc. Mendix security concepts like XPath constraints and user roles are second nature for you
• Have experience working in agile environments
• Have a passion for technology and possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Have experience developing in Java
• Have proven experience building custom integration with web services and REST APIs

Experience Level: 5 to 10 Years

Certifications Preferred: Intermediate or Expert

You’re the innovator we need if you have:

• Experience with either Python or Golang
• Experience with hosting a distributed microservices architecture(e.g. technologies like Docker, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience with IaaS Cloud Providers(e.g. AWS, GCP) and in depth Linux internals knowledge
• Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure provisioning(e.g. Terraform, Cloud Formation, python troposphere, etc)
• Experience with CI/CD concepts(e.g. Concource CI, Jenkins, etc.)

Experience Level: 5 to 10 Years

Certifications Preferred: Intermediate or Expert
