MPO Success story

MPO is a leading ISV providing SCM solutions for the logistics industry, and was founded in the year 2000, by two childhood friends and passionate technocrats, Dr. Martin Verwijmeren and Paul van Dongen. Both co-founders had extensive experience in the logistics as well as technology industries, and held advanced degrees from Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands. They had a vision of creating an integrated SCM software suite, specifically designed for the logistics industry, and both combined their insights, expertise and limited resources to launch MPO. It functioned in a startup, garage mode for the first 5 years of its existence, during which the co-founders have bootstrapped and completely self-financed MPO. With the help of a small team of developers, and with their own strong technology expertise, Paul and Martin developed a SCM software package by 2005, and started marketing it to various customers in the NL and EU. By 2010, they had a handful of customers, who were being supported through individual, customized solutions
